Thank you so much for getting in touch with us and I’m so sorry that you may have been mis-sold car finance. The good news is, with our partners Chan Neill Solicitors we’re here to help and let’s try to claim back what you’ve lost. The average person’s claim is almost £6,000 and we try to get everything up and running as quickly as possible, if you can help us, we try to work on a 48 hour turnaround of all documents.
We will shortly be emailing you with relevant documents, Terms and Conditions etc. if you could kindly check your email and add carclaim@SortMyCash.co.uk to your contacts / safe senders list.
The next steps are as follows:
- Collate your relevant documents (finance agreement, photo ID and proof of address)
- Complete our PDF Letter of Authority (add personal, vehicle and finance details). Please do not sign this yet.
- Return your documents via our upload form below
- We will check and complete your documents and email a copy to be digitally signed by you, on our SigningHub platform
We will shortly email a copy of the Letter of Authority along with all relevant documents, but if you would like to make a start straight away, you can download a copy from this link – click here.
If you do not have your finance agreement then you can get this with a 5-10 minute call. When you get through to the lender just ask for an en electronic copy of your finance agreement and statement of account. They should email this over to you straight away. A list of phone numbers can be found using this link – click here. If you are unsure who the finance was with, you can check your old bank records or ask the dealer that you bought the car from.
We have created a small PDF brochure which we think is very helpful with some more information about car finance claims, the process for your claim and what else SortMyCash help customers with. Please download from here and please also share with family and friends so that we can help them too.
Many thanks again and please keep checking your email to ensure nothing is missed or sent to ‘junk’.
Good luck and let’s do everything we can to win you some compensation.
Thank you again and have a lovely day!
